The company\u2019s participation represents a milestone in its development and reaffirms its commitment to strengthening the creative chain of Mexican cinema, starting with its most fundamental element: the screenplay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El certamen, que celebra su 24.\u00aa edici\u00f3n ininterrumpida desde su creaci\u00f3n en 2002, invita a los guionistas mexicanos y a los residentes en el pa\u00eds a presentar proyectos originales en las categor\u00edas de cortometraje y largometraje de ficci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">En esta edici\u00f3n, <strong>WABI Entertainment<\/strong> \u2014representada por <strong>Estefania Bonilla Hern\u00e1ndez<\/strong> (directora de desarrollo) y <strong>Yair Ponce<\/strong> (director general)\u2014 se une a la iniciativa junto con <strong>el Gobierno del Estado de Guanajuato, la Fundaci\u00f3n Expresi\u00f3n en Corto A.C., Escribe Cine A.C., Corporaci\u00f3n Cinefilia, Lab Cine y el Instituto Mexicano del Cine (IMCINE)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">\"El guion es el punto de partida y la base del cine. La incorporaci\u00f3n de WABI Entertainment a este esfuerzo colectivo supone un claro compromiso con las historias que merecen ser contadas y con quienes tienen el talento para escribirlas.\"<br><strong>\u2014 Yair Ponce, director general y productor ejecutivo de WABI Entertainment<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The call for entries for the 24th competition is open from March 17 to April 16, 2026, and is aimed at Mexican authors and co-authors, whether living in Mexico or abroad, as well as foreign nationals with a minimum of three years of residency in Mexico.
