The son of a visual artist and a photographer, Grau was surrounded by photography, drawing, and short filmmaking from a very young age.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She studied Film Directing at ESSCAC in Barcelona and specialized in Documentary Film at the CCC in Mexico City. At 24, she had the opportunity to direct for the first time and discovered one of her greatest passions: the ability to explore, propose, and infuse her vision into projects made the work both satisfying and enjoyable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This concept and filming style has allowed it to have a variety of recognitions in many international festivals and competitions such as the category for Best International Documentary some of them are DOCS in Mexico, in the category of Best Documentary at the IPAAF in Italy, MEDIUM in the USA, FIPADOC in France, Millenium in Belgium and multiple awards such as the Gold &amp; Silver at the Reed Latino Awards, Reed Latino Awards and Polis Awards AAPC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to his successful career, Grau Serra is considered one of the best documentary film directors in the country, and is part of our team of local directors at Wabi Productions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through his lens, Grau captures the essence of life, revealing profound human stories and connecting the viewer with realities that might otherwise go unnoticed. With a masterful ability to combine images, sounds, and testimonies, Grau creates masterpieces with Wabi that offer a historical perspective through artistic expression, looking beyond the obvious and questioning our perceptions.
