Wabi Group launches Verticality
27 October, 2026
The launch comes amidst the production of 25 series this year for a U.S.-based platform, inviting brands to explore new ways of creating entertainment.
“What is it that draws us into a story, making it impossible to stop watching?” ask the team at Wabi Group. This question drives Verticality—a division that integrates creativity, production, and technology to develop vertical-format entertainment on a large scale.
“This opportunity invites us to imagine brands that build their own entertainment universes, platforms that discover new stories for their audiences, and characters that become part of people’s lives,” the Wabi team explains.
The initiative brings together María Victoria de Narváez, Director of Business Design and Innovation; Francisco Partida, CSO; Yair Ponce, General Manager of Wabi Entertainment; and María Paula Botero, Head of Production at Verticality.
“We are living in an extraordinary time for creativity. New tools and formats allow us to explore different ways of telling stories and connecting with diverse audiences. We are leveraging our core expertise—production—to discover what we can create in collaboration with brands, platforms, and talent,” says Alan Suárez, CEO of Wabi Group.
Currently, Verticality is producing micro-dramas for a U.S.-based platform targeting Latin American audiences. The division plans to produce over 100 series by 2027, while simultaneously preparing for regional expansion.
For brands, this opens up the possibility of becoming a media entity in their own right—creating stories and experiences that people choose to follow. For platforms, it offers an operation that bridges creative development with production capacity.
